The Mini-Universal MATE-N-LOK connector system is a small and durable connector system that combines pins and sockets in the plug and cap housings to achieve optimal electrical performance within a.163″ [4.14mm] centerline. This is made possible by the Mini-Universal MATE-N-LOK connector system’s unique pin-and-socket design. Mini-Universal MATE-N-LOK connector housings are polarized to ensure proper plug-to-cap mating. In addition, they include a positive locking mechanism to prevent the accidental separation of mated connectors. Because system flexibility is essential, the contacts are completely encased in housings, have minimal mating forces, and may be withdrawn. The Mini-Universal MATE-N-LOK connector system is appropriate for applications needing moisture resistance or where there is excessive humidity, occasional liquid splashing, or foam-in. Mini-Universal MATE-N-LOK connectors allow for wire-to-wire and wire-to-board connections. Crimp, snap-in pin, and receptacle connections can be used to terminate 30-16 [0.05-1.2 mm2] AWG wire with insulation widths of up to 3.20 mm.
